General policy

When collecting or storing data, Adspine.Com conforms with the Danish data protection law
and fulfils the regulations of the Privacy Preferences Projects (P3P), that are determined by the World Wide Web group (W3C).

We never collect person-related data about users without their explicit approval.

The registration, collection and use of such information are subject to stringent data protection regulations.

This data allows us to measure the delivery of banners and to report the results to our customers.
It also includes such information as the number of clicks on a banner or how often a specific banner has been delivered to an individual user.
We sometimes aggregate the data acquired in the individual networks internally for statistical purposes.

Our customers' reports do not include any IP addresses.
Contractually Adspine advises its customers to prevent any breaches in data protection law.
Moreover the customer should inform its users (the website) that its IP address will be transferred to Adspine and that cookies could be set.

Adspine considers it its duty to be in a continual dialogue with the Danish data protection authorities.

Policy Evaluation

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+ will evaluate this policy's compact policy whenever it is used with a cookie.

The actions IE will take depend on what privacy level the user has selected in their browser (Low, Medium, Medium High, or High; the default is Medium.

In addition, IE will examine whether the cookie's policy is considered satisfactory or unsatisfactory, whether the cookie is a session cookie or a persistent cookie, and whether the cookie is used in a first-party or third-party context.

This section will attempt to evaluate this policy's compact policy against Microsoft's stated behavior for IE6.

Note: this evaluation is currently experimental and should not be considered a substitute for testing with a real Web browser.
